THE HEART OF THE MATTER

This brief study is concerned with answering the question “what is the heart” from a scriptural  perspective. The heart, according to the scripture, is part of man’s spiritual makeup. It is the place where emotions and desires begin; it is that which drives the will of man towards action. The physical heart is an organ that pumps blood. Poets also have a lot to say about the heart. However, the heart of man as described in the Bible is primarily a spiritual organ that drives man’s behavior.

We know that the heart is the starting place for spiritual life because of what the Bible says about God’s actions toward the human heart. In order to get people to desire what He desires, God must “remove the heart of stone” and replace it with “a heart of flesh” (Ezekiel 36:26).

SATAN´N PLAN FOR MANKIND.

The scriptures teaches us that Satan and one third of the angels in heaven at some point in the past rebelled against YAH and were cast out of heaven to earth. Since that time Satan has tried to control the planet and lure people from following YAH. We are mostly taught that Satan’s main purpose for wanting to lure as many people from YAH as possible is that he is angry at YAH for defeating him and simply wants to deny YAH the lives of as many of YAH’s children as possible by getting them to sin and reject Jashua.
But Satan is the king of deception, and if we study the bible closely we can find that Satan’s plans are much more devious and cunning than just wanting to “take as many people down with him as he can”. Satan is a vain and arrogant being who still believes he can take the place of YAH. To understand the full scope of how Satan thinks he can accomplish this goal we need to make a quick study of the events that the New World Order is trying to impose on all countries around the world. PENTECOST

PENTECOST

“When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Set Apart Spirit …” (Acts 2:1-4).

STUDY OF THE BOOK OF JAMES PART II

STUDY OF THE BOOK OF JAMES PART II.

STUDY OF THE BOOK OF JAMES

The author identifies himself as James (1:1); he was probably the brother of Jashua and leader of the Jerusalem council (Ac 15). Four men in the NT have this name. The author of this letter could not have been the apostle James, who died too early (a.d. 44) to have written it. The other two men named James had neither the stature nor the influence that the writer of this letter had.

James was one of several brothers of Jashua, probably the oldest since he heads the list in Mt 13:55. At first he did not believe in Jashua and even challenged him and misunderstood his mission (Jn 7:2-5). Later he became very prominent in the assembly. SPIRITUAL SIGHTEDNESS

SPIRITUAL SIGHTEDNESS, 2 Peter 1:9 “For he in whom these are not present is blind, being shortsighted, and has forgotten that he has been cleansed from his old sins. “

Peter declares that character-deficient Christians are “blind” at the present moment, “shortsighted” about the future, and “forgetful” of God’s grace in the past. If you want to learn more, please feel free to click on the following link:

The Nature of Sin.

The sin nature is that aspect in man that makes him rebellious against Yah. When we speak of the sin nature, we refer to the fact that we have a natural inclination to sin; given the choice to do Yah’s will or our own, we will naturally choose to do our own thing. The following video will teach us more about The Nature of Sin.

The Passover

The first of Yah’s seven annual festivals is the Passover (Leviticus 23:5). It is a reminder of how Yah spared His people from death in Egypt. To rescue His people from slavery, Yah took the lives of all the firstborn Egyptian males (Exodus 12:7, 26-29) but passed over the Israelites’ homes that had the blood of a sacrificed lamb on their door frames. Covenants part II :

If we don’t understand the covenants, we will not and cannot understand the Scripture because we won’t understand how the story fits together. The best way to see this is by quickly surveying the covenants in the Scriptures.

The Covenants.

The covenants are crucial, because they are the backbone of the storyline of the Scripture. The scripture isn’t a random collection of laws, moral principles, and stories. It is a story that goes somewhere; it is the story of redemption, the story of Yah’s kingdom. And the story unfolds and advances through the covenants Yah made with his people.

If we don’t understand the covenants, we will not and cannot understand the Scripture because we won’t understand how the story fits together. The best way to see this is by quickly surveying the covenants in the Scriptures.

Nutri Hogar.

In this video we show a visit we made to Nutri Hogar Foundation, which provides medical and nutritional care to children with low economic resources. We read in Mat 18:10  “See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that in the heavens their messengers always see the face of My Father who is in the heavens.
