CALLED AND CHOSEN

Mathew 22:12 and he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here not having a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless.

Mathew 22:13 Then the sovereign said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and throw him out into the outer darkness – there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

Mathew 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

It is important to note the call has gone out (The true Gospel Message) to millions of people since it was first preached, however, Yahweh who searches the hearts only selects a few.  Only the Father calls people to His Son for Salvation at this time.  Very few people are actually humble and surrendered enough to really forsake all they have and be obedient to the truth.

Luke 14:33 So, then, every one of you who does not give up all that he has, is unable to be My disciple. Few find it and few are able to stay on the path until they reach the end of it.

Mathew 7:14 Because the gate is narrow and the way is hard pressed which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

Revelation 17:14 They shall fight with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them, for He is Master of masters and Sovereign of sovereigns. And those with Him are called, and chosen, and trustworthy. It will be partly because of our faithfulness that we will be chosen to be the bride.

Mathew 13:10 And the taught ones came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?”

Mathew 13:11 And He answering, said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the secrets of the reign of the heavens, but to them it has not been given.

Mathew 13:12 For whoever possesses, to him more shall be given, and he shall have overflowingly; but whoever does not possess, even what he possesses shall be taken away from him.

Mathew 13:13 Because of this I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.

Mathew 13:14 And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is completely filled, which says, ‘Hearing you shall hear and by no means understand, and seeing you shall see and by no means perceive,

Mathew 13:15 for the heart of this people has become thickened, and their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, lest they should understand with their heart, and turn back, and I heal them.

Mathew 13:16 And blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear,

Mathew 13:17 for truly I say to you, that many prophets and righteous ones longed to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.

Mathew 13:18 You, then, hear the parable of the Sower:

Mathew 13:19 When anyone hears the word of the reign, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is that sown by the wayside.
