CALLED AND CHOSEN

II Peter 2:21 For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the set-apart command delivered unto them.

II Peter 2:22 For them the proverb has proved true, “A dog returns to his own vomit,” and, “A washed sow returns to her rolling in the mud.” 

I will comment in more detail how I watched first hand; these things happen with the break-up of World-Wide Church of God.

Point 4:  The Purpose and Goal of Our Calling:

Our calling puts us into a special relationship with Him. 

I Corinthians 1:9 Elohim is trustworthy, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Yahshua Messiah our Master.

He works in our life to help us overcome and work things out in our lives because of this calling.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all matters work together for good to those who love

Elohim, to those who are called according to His purpose.

Romans 8:29 Because those whom He knew beforehand, He also ordained beforehand to be conformed to the likeness of His Son, for Him to be the first-born among many brothers.

Romans 8:30 And whom He ordained beforehand, these He also called, and whom He called, these He also declared right. And whom He declared right, these He also esteemed.

Paul had the vision of His calling and kept everything in proper perspective and priorities.

Philippians 3:8 What is more, I even count all to be loss because of the excellence of the knowledge of Messiah Yahshua my Master, for whom I have suffered the loss of all, and count them as refuse, in order to gain Messiah,

Philippians 3:9 and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through belief in Messiah, the righteousness which is from Elohim on the basis of belief,

Philippians 3:10 to know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,

Philippians 3:11 if somehow, I might attain to the resurrection from the dead.

Philippians 3:12 Not that I have already received, or already been perfected, but I press on, to lay hold of that for which Messiah Yahshua has also laid hold of me.

Philippians 3:13 Brothers, I do not count myself to have laid hold of it yet, but only this: forgetting what is behind and reaching out for what lies ahead,

Philippians 3:14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of Elohim in Messiah Yahshua.
