Colossians 1:20 and through Him to completely restore to favour all unto Himself, whether on earth or in the heavens, having made peace through the blood of His stake.
Colossians 1:21 And you, who once were estranged and enemies in the mind by wicked works, but now He has completely restored to favour
Colossians 1:22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you set-apart, and blameless, and unreprovable before Him, Yahshua died for the whole world, never the less, He is still our personal Savior. Conversion is a matter of the heart! We must feel, with all of our heart, gratitude and sorrow for what He did for us discerning the true magnitude of His Sacrifice. The Passover ceremony amplifies the need to discern His body with reverence and solemness.
I Colossians 11:27 So that whoever should eat this bread or drink this cup of the Master unworthily shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Master.
I Colossians 11:28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread and drink of that cup.
As we come to accept our Savior for the first time and wanting to be immersed, we too, must examine ourselves and recognize our need for forgiveness and belief in His blood.
I Colossians 11:29 For the one who is eating and drinking unworthily, eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the body of the Master.
Notice the reaction of those gathering in Jerusalem on the Day of Pentecost.
Acts 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know for certain that Elohim has made this Yahshua, whom you impaled, both Master and Messiah.”
Acts 2:37 And having heard this, they were pierced to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the emissaries, “Men, brothers, what shall we do?”
Acts 2:38 And Peter said to them Repent, and let each one of you be immersed in the Name of Yahshua Messiah for the forgiveness of sins., And you shall receive the gift of the Set-apart Spirit.
Acts 2:39 For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are far off, as many as Yahweh our Elohim shall call.”
We too, must be pierced in our hearts, because our Conversion is of the Heart!
Mathew 13:15 for the heart of this people has become thickened, and their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, lest they should understand with their heart, and turn back, and I heal them.
We must understand with our heads as well as with our heart, all that He personally did for us. We should pray and meditate on the following verses that describe His painful, scourging and sacrifice which was done for each one of us.
