Psalm 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O Elohim, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Mathew 7:13 Enter in through the narrow gate! Because the gate is wide – and the way is broad – that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter in through it.
Mathew 7:14 Because the gate is narrow and the way is hard pressed which leads to life, and there are few who find it. Footnote: for the way is afflicted.
Repentance From Dead Works:
The wages and penalty of sin is death. See I John 3:4 and Romans 6:23. There are works or actions in our lives, that if not repented of, will lead to Eternal Death. There are also works and actions that will lead to Eternal Life. Here are some examples of things leading to dead works. The breaking of the Commandments carries the Death Penalty.
Exodus 31:13 And you, speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘My Sabbaths you are to guard, by all means, for it is a sign1 between Me and you throughout your generations, to know that I, יהוה ,am setting you apart. Footnote: A sign of Yahweh setting us apart, a sign of the everlasting covenant, is His Sabbaths, one of them being the seventh day Sabbath. This is repeated in Ezekiel 20:12 & 20.
Exodus 31:14 And you shall guard the Sabbath, for it is set-apart to you. Everyone who profanes it shall certainly be put to death, for anyone who does work on it, that being shall be cut off from among his people.
In verse 13, please notice that “His Sabbaths” are plural meaning we are to keep all of the Set-apart, High Days commanded in Leviticus 23.
In Deuteronomy 30:4-20, it is very plainly stated that keeping the Commandments leads to life and breaking them leads to death. It is our free choice! We are told to choose life! When people reject His call and refuse to obey Him, they are choosing death.
Deuteronomy 30:4 If any of you are driven out to the farthest parts under the heavens, from there Yahweh your Elohim does gather you, and from there He does take you.
Deuteronomy 30:5 And Yahweh your Elohim shall bring you to the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it. And He shall do good to you, and increase you more than your fathers.
Deuteronomy 30:6 And Yahweh your Elohim shall circumcise your heart and the heart of your seed, to love יהוה your Elohim with all your heart and with all your being, so that you might live,
Deuteronomy 30:7 and יהוה your Elohim shall put all these curses on your enemies and on those who hate you, who persecuted you.
Deuteronomy 30:8 And you shall turn back and obey the voice of Yahweh and do all His commands which I command you today.
Deuteronomy 30:9 And יהוה your Elohim shall make you have excess in all the work of your hand, in the fruit of your body, and in the fruit of your livestock, and in the fruit of your ground for good. For Yah turns back to rejoice over you for good as He rejoiced over your fathers,
