Romans 8:13 For if you live according to the flesh, you are going to die: but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you shall live
Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of Elohim, these are sons of Elohim.
Romans 8:15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear; but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry out “Abba, Father.”
Romans 8:16 The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of Elohim :
Romans 8:17 And if children, also heirs; true heirs of Elohim, and co-heirs with Messiah; if indeed we suffer with Him, in order we also be exalted together.
We are His children and heirs, and we must suffer with Him if we are going to be part of His family – eternal, Spirit beings ruling and reigning with Him for a thousand years during the Millennium on the earth.
Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given to them; and the lives of those who had been beheaded, because of the witness they bore to Elohim, and because of the word of Elohim, and who did not worship the beast, nor his image, and did not receive his mark upon their foreheads or upon their hands. And they lived and reigned with Messiah for a thousand years.
Revelation 5:10 And has made us sovereigns and priests to our Elohim , and we shall reign upon the earth.
There are many other verses that prove we must do more than just believe to fulfill the purpose for which we were created. Elohim wants a family that loves Him voluntarily – a family that has been tried and tested; that will not rebel as Satan did – a family that can help Him rule and reign and restore the earth like it was in the Garden of Eden. Acts 3:20-21
Acts 3:20 And that He sends Messiah, pre appointed for you;
Acts 3:21 Whom heaven needs to receive until the times of restitution of all matters, of which Elohim spoke through the mouth of all His set-apart prophets since of old.
There is also another time when others will have their chance to be called and become truly converted and be a part of His family. Messiah wants to marry someone just like Himself, with His mind, His character, and the fully matured fruit of His Spirit. Now is the time when the spiritual body of Messiah is preparing to be at one with the Father and the Son. John 17:21-23
John 17:21 so that they all might be one; as You Father are in Me, and I in You, so that they too might be one in us; so that the world might believe that You have sent Me.
John 17:22 And the esteem which you gave me I have given them; so that they might be one, as We are one
