His Spirit seals us.
II Corinthians 1:22 – Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
Our calling and the Spirit working with us gives the understanding that allows Yah to prepare and know our hearts so we can receive His Spirit. Conversion is of the heart – an understanding heart.
Mathew 13:15-16 – For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. 16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.
Part of counting the cost and fulfilling our part of our Covenant with Yahshua is that we walk in newness of life.
Romans 6:4 – Therefore we are buried with him by Immersion into death: that like as Messiah was raised up from the dead by the esteem of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
THE NEW WALK:
It is the Straight and Narrow and Difficult path that leads to Eternal Life.
Mathew 7:13-14 – Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in there at:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
This difficult path is one of always putting Sin Out of our Lives by the power of the Set- apart Spirit and becoming instruments of righteousness.
Romans 6:12-13 – Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto Elohim, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto Elohim.
All this is accomplished by letting Yahshua and His Spirit live in us and guide us.
Galatians 2:20 – I am sacrificed with Messiah: nevertheless, I live; yet not I, but Messiah liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the belief of the Son of Elohim, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Colossians 1:26-27 – Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
27 To whom Elohim would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Messiah in you, the hope of esteeming:
Romans 8:4-6 – That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
I John 3:24 – And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in Him, and He in him. And hereby we know that He abideth in us, by the Spirit which He hath given us.
The new walk is a life of growing and overcoming and service to others.
