Before a person is put under the water, they are asked if they have repented of all their sins and believe in Yahshua’s blood for the forgiveness of their sins. They are asked if they accept Yahshua as their personal Savior for the forgiveness of their sins.
** Please Note: There are no Scriptural examples of anyone being immersed in the name of the Father, the Son and the Set-apart Spirit – only in the name of Yahshua
Acts 4:10-12 – Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Yahshua Messiah of Nazareth, whom ye sacrificed, whom Elohim raised from the dead, even by Him doth this man stands here before you whole.
11 This is the stone which was set at naught of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
12 Neither is there redemption in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Acts 8:12 – But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of EL, and the name of Yahshua Messiah, they were immersed, both men and women.
Acts 10:48 – And he commanded them to be immersed in the name of the Messiah. Then prayed they Him to tarry certain days.
Before the person is put under the water, they are told that they are being immersed into the name of Yahshua Messiah and not into any worldly sect or corporate organization, but into the Spiritual Body of Messiah.
I Corinthians 12:12-13 – For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also, is Messiah.
13 For by one Spirit are we all immersed into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
Ephesians 4:4-7 – There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5 One Elohim, one belief, one Immersion,
6 One Elohim and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
7 But unto every one of us is given favor according to the measure of the gift of Messiah.
