REPENTANCE FROM DEAD WORKS

Acts 5:30-32 – The Elohim of our fathers raised up Yahshua, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.

31 Him hath Elohim exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

32 And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Spirit, whom Elohim hath given to them that obey him.

Acts 11:18 – When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified Elohim, saying, Then hath EL also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

Acts 13:24 – When John had first preached before His coming the baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel. (This was John the Baptist who preached prior to Yahshua’s coming)

Acts 17:30-31 – And the times of this ignorance Elohim winked at; but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent:

31 Because He hath appointed a day, in the which He will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

Acts 19:1-6 – And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,

2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Set Apart Spirit since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Set Apart Spirit.

3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism.

4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Messiah Yahshua.

5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of Yahshua.

6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Set Apart Spirit came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

Acts 26:20 – But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to Elohim, and do works meet for repentance.

Romans 2:4 – Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of Elohim leadeth thee to repentance?

Romans 11:29 – For the gifts and calling of Elohim are without repentance.

II Corinthians 7:9-11 – Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing.

10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

11 For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter. (Please notice this scripture gives you what the correct type of (Godly) sorrow is all about and how a person should feel during the repentance process)
